Welcome to our first blog post for Compass Pilot Trip 2.0! Two medical students, myself and Erin, will be heading to Addis Ababa to deliver revised health education sessions to students at The School of St. Yared, as well as to attend four days of clinical placement with Australian Doctors for Africa at the Black Lion Hospital.
Our bags are full of alcohol swabs, reusable sanitary pads made by Days for Girls and even a CPR mannequin to teach first aid! It’s a good thing we have 46kg luggage allowance each!
